The City of Greensburg, in partnership with HWC Engineering, has awarded contracts to Schutte Excavating for the reconstruction and enhancement of Washington Street from Franklin Street to Monfort Street. This project, funded by a Community Crossings Matching Grant from INDOT, Indiana Economic Development Corporation, The Indiana Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative (READI), the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, and local match, is scheduled to take place from October 2024- September 2025 in multiple phases.
