Drunk Driving
The following link offers the citizen some visual cues which can aid in the detection of a drunk driver, thereby helping one to hopefully avoid a confrontation/collision with the same. If a motorist suspects a car is being driven by a drunk driver, the motorist should:
- not pass the car;
- keep a safe distance;
- notify the police as soon as possible;
- give an accurate description of the vehicle to dispatch;
- if possible, follow the vehicle and update dispatch with current location;
- supply dispatch with personal information to aid in the prosecution.
