UTV / Golf Cart

The City of Greensburg allows for UTV and Golf Carts to be operated within city limits on city maintained public right of ways, when properly registered.  The City has adopted ordinances pertaining to the operation and registration of both UTVs and Golf Carts being operated within the City limits.  UTVs must also comply with all State of Indiana Laws.  Certain equipment requirements are necessary to meet local ordinances.

To register your UTV or Golf Cart contact Greensburg Police Department Records Department to schedule an appointment.

• UTVs must be registered with the BMV before registering with the Greensburg Police Department
• There is a $35 fee to register UTVs and Golf Carts.  This fee is paid annually to maintain registration with the City of Greensburg, due by June 1st.
• Proof of insurance coverage is required for both UTVs and Golf Carts
