 The Board of Works for the City of Greensburg is composed of Mayor Gary Herbert, Darrell Poling, Stephen Simmonds., Linda Oldham and Rodney King.

The Board of Works is the chief administrative body of the City of Greensburg government. Its powers include oversight of the day-to-day
operations of the following departments:

• Police Department

• Fire Department

• Engineering

• Water

• Sanitation

• Streets

• Water Pollution Control

In addition, the Board of Works regulates traffic improvements, air pollution, water pollution, building inspection, animal control, and aviation.
Members of the Board of Works are chosen by the Mayor of Greensburg.
